Sturmbock

On 18th July 1944, Feldwebel Otfried Baisch, in his Fw-190A-8/R2 of 12/JG.3, will get his second "viermot" kill, only to be the next victim of the Allied escort fighters shortly afterwards. His "Sturmbock" features extra armour plates on the cockpit sides, extra armoured glass panels on the canopy and the not so successful "Krebsgeraet", a rear firing 21cm rocket. The choice of 91thBG B-17s is fully fictional and doesn´t necessarily represents the actual event, call it artistic licence please! The same goes for the Mustangs!
